No doubt that Ella Fitzgerald is the greatest singer ever. And also in this performance, one can simply be astonished by the perfect interpretation. But right in this case, of course I'm strongly biased by having Marilyn in my mind, left by Tony Curtis in "Some like it hot". So when I hear it sung by Ella, my reaction is "great, as usual", but when I hear Marilyn singing "I've stocked my heart with icy frigid air", my reaction is "No, my dear, don't do that: keep on loving and give mankind another chance! Give ME another chance!".

My preference goes to Marilyn.
